Meet The Team

Following a career as a professional footballer, Steve moved to coaching, his vision to inspire children saw the creation of R&D in 2007. Since it began coaching football, R&D has gone from strength to strength and now coaches all sports in primary schools, school clubs, runs highly successful holiday courses and parties and also in 2017 saw the launch of R&D Dance. Kerry has a degree in Musical Theatre and brings a wealth of experience she is qualified in tap, ballet, modern and musical theatre.

Kerry also used to be an accomplished performer who is looking to pass on her experience to the future talent!

Kerry is also a qualified Sports Coach to a level 2 standard

Nic joined R&D in January 2020, he has quickly developed in to one of our lead coaches delivering birthday parties amongst his school and holiday sessions. Nic is now one of our full time coaches with many additional qualifications alongside his level 2 badges

Stephen is one of R&D's longest serving coaches. Stephen enjoys creating new games for his sessions and trying them out with an enthusiastic group. Steven's strength is football, giving the children a depth of knowledge of games to play, ways to help them improve from session to session.

Sarah joined the team in July 2019 and is a fantastic addition to the team due to her many years of experience of working in schools. As well as being a qualified sports coach Sarah is also a fully qualified primary school teacher.

Dean joins our coaching team after attending our courses as a player for over 10 years! Dean has now gained his football coaching qualification and is heading up holiday course sessions as well as after school clubs.

Tom has been with R&D for a number of years now. He delivers all types of sessions for us and is known as the "king of 1on1 of football sessions" due to fab feedback we have had over the years. Away from school coaching he helps deliver our carehome sessions

Sam is our newest member of the team. Sam is a very enthusiastic and hard working member of the team who's passion for coaching really shows in his sessions. We are looking forward to see him develop as a coach with us

Chris joined us in April 2025 and brings a wealth of experience in coaching with him. He has a vast knowledge of sports coaching and we are delighted to have him on board.

Farrell joined us in April 2025 and is very enthusiastic with a passion for coaching. We are looking forward to seeing him progress with R&D

Ella joined us in June 2025 and brings good knowledge of sports to our team including Cricket. We are very happy to have Ella on board delivering sport sessions with us as she starts her coaching journey with us.
